99. Can I have a few more minutes? 메뉴를 조금 더 봤으면 좋겠는데요
오늘은 테이블에서 음식을 주문할 때 사용되어지는 표현들을 익혀 보자.
A: Good evening, Sir? Are you ready to order?
B: Well, I haven't made up my mind. Can I have a few more minutes, please?
A: Sure. And for you, ma'am? What would you like to have?
C: I'll have shrimp cocktail for starters and then steak, please.
A: How would you like your steak done?
C: Medium-rare, please.
A: OK. And that comes with a baked potato or fries.
C: I'll have a baked potato.
A: Would you care for soup or salad with that?
C: What kind of soup do you have tonight?
A: We have clam chowder and French onion.
C: Oh, they both sound heavy. I think I'll have a salad, please.
A: OK, do you want a dressing on that?
C: Yes, oil and vinegar.
A: And for dessert? Do you want to order now or later?
C: I'll choose dessert later. Thank you.
A: You're very welcome. I'll be right back with your starter.

B: 아직 결정을 못했는데, 메뉴를 조금 더 봤으면 좋겠는데요.
A: 그렇게 하십시오. 그럼 부인께서는 무엇을 드시겠습니까?
C: 전채요리는 새우 칵테일로 주시고, 스테이크를 주세요.
A: 스테이크는 어떻게 해 드릴까요?
C: 약간만 익혀 주세요.
A: 스테이크에는 오븐에 구운 감자나 감자 튀김이 함께 나옵니다.
C: 오븐에 구운 감자로 주십시오.
A: 수프나 샐러드 드시겠습니까?
C: 오늘은 어떤 종류의 수프가 있습니까?
A: 오늘은 조개 수프와 프렌치 어니언 수프입니다.
C: 둘 다 너무 부담스러울 것 같네요. 샐러드로 하죠.
A: 샐러드에 드레싱(소스)을 쳐서 드릴까요?
C: 예. 올리브기름과 식초로 만든 드레싱을 주세요.
A: 디저트는 지금 주문하시겠습니까 아니면 나중에 하시겠습니까?
C: 나중에 주문하죠. 고맙습니다.
A: 천만에요. 먼저 전채요리를 준비해서 가지고 오겠습니다.
